Everything was thought to the smallest detail, from the selection of the the various divisions palette of colors to the choice of the original furniture that would remain in the property, in a decoration project of the Architect Miguel Gonçalves.

Two suites, one in blue (accommodating up to four people) and one green (accommodating 2 people) await visitors, who can socialize in the splendid dining room or in the property winter garden if they do not prefer the privacy of the rooms which they are intended.

One last surprise is the garden. The property hides a garden designed and built with the gardens of the end of the 19th century taste and where our guests can enjoy the tranquility of those who are far from the city noise (despite the location is in the center of Ponta Delgada). Here, in balance, the exuberance of the Azorean flora (strelitzia, rose and hidrangeas) with subtropical flora (Dracaenas palms, cycadaceas, azaleas, ferns and several other species) lend the place a palette of varied greens.
This garden of aromas and colors is the ideal place to renew the energies after a day of discovery of the Island of S. Miguel, enjoying a glass of Azorean wine or even dining under the aroma of the surrounding flora and the background sound of frogs and birds...
The purpose of the owners of Casa de Santa Margarida is to be in the first place hosts, the house was not thought out or prepared to receive visitors, it was prepared to receive friends.
And if visitors miss Casa de Santa Margarida... well if they miss it, the solution, it's easy.

The Casa de Santa Margarida is in the historic center of the city of Ponta Delgada, 4.3 km from João Paulo II Airport (9 minutes by car).
